She serves as Ouma’s partner throughout the series. At the same time, she is also a member of the resistance group “Funeral Parlor/Undertakers” and her void is a sword. Like Ouma, she is also 17-year old and is the stoic vocalist of the internet group Egoist.
Yuzuriha Inori (楪 いのり Yuzuriha Inori) – is the story’s female protagonist. He later acquires the ability of the “Power of Kings” thanks to the “Void Genome” that merged into his right arm while trying to save Inori. He is a second year high school student and a member of the school’s modern image and video research club. He is portrayed in the anime as someone who prefers to be alone and is not used to socializing with people. Ouma Shu (桜満 集 Ōma Shū) – is the 17 year old protagonist of the series. GHQ then began raiding the Roppongi area in search of the mysterious vial, and while in the process of rescuing Inori who was being threatened by GHQ Endlave mechs, the vial shatters and its content were absorbed by Shu giving him “The Power of the Kings” which he uses to protect Inori. Still shocked at the quick turn of events, he follows the coordinates of Inori’s robot which led him to rendezvous with Tsutsugami Gai, the leader of the terrorist group Funeral Parlor and was asked to protect a mysterious vial. It did not take long before GHQ Antibodies, a special virus countermeasures force, stormed in and arrested Inori for her involvement with the terrorist group Funeral Parlor.
Ten years later, Ouma Shu, a quiet 17-year old high school student accidentally meets a wounded Yuzuriha Inori, who is the lead vocalist of a popular online band called “Egoist” taking refuge at his film club’s workshop. An international organizer called GHQ intervenes and enforces martial law to restore order in Japan at the cost of its independence. In the year 2029, an epidemic called the “Apocalypse Virus” plunged Japan in a state of national crisis and the event was referred to as “Lost Christmas”. A spin-off visual novel entitled Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas was developed by Nitroplus on the 26th of July 2012. ASCII Media Works published a manga adaptation of the anime on July 2012 while Square Enix published theirs on November of 2011. The show was directed by Tetsurou Araki and was originally written by Hiroyuki Yoshino along with co-director Ichirou Okouchi. studios having 22 episodes with the first episode being aired on the 13th of October of 2011 and the last episode being televised on the 22nd of March 2012. Guilty Crown (ギルテイラウン-Giruti Kuraun) is a Japanese anime series produced by Production I.G.
